As an English teacher, you will encounter all of this. As an English teacher, you will also find yourself in an international community of native English speakers from all over the world. This is not an ordinary workforce, but our responsibility to be an ambassador in Taipei’s workforce is as great as it is anywhere else.

The academic life and student culture of the average elementary student in Taiwan is much more stressful than that of the average student in an American elementary school. As one of the many teachers these students have during the week, you will discover how this pressure affects them as people and affects you as their English instructor.
